Mini Fèis as part of Highlands & Islands Music & Dance Festival
at Oban High School
Classes for 8-18 years in:
Gaelic Song - Bagpipes - Clarsach - Guitar - Whistle - Fiddle - Accordion - Chanter

Fèis at the Festival has being organised Fèis Latharna in partnership with Highlands & Islands Music & Dance Festival and Fèisean nan Gàidheal and the support of Tesco Bags of Help.
This is a great opportunity for those who would like to try a new traditional instrument or would like continued tuition in an instrument they already have experience in.
It will follow the format of four different one hour classes which will run as follows:
10am - 11am CLASS 1
11am - 12pm CLASS 2
12pm - 1pm LUNCH (Please collect your child as no supervision or facilities for lunch are provided)
1pm - 2pm CLASS 3
2pm - 3pm CLASS 4

Will participants definitely get the classes the choose? We strive to accommodate the preferences within classes of appropriate ability but it is not always possible dependant on maximum class size, ability mix etc.
Do we need to supply our own instruments? No but if you have access to (labelled) instruments then please bring them (with labels). We do keep a small stock but appreciate if participants can bring their own.
